Underclassmen Picture Days
Underclassmen photos for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will be taken during your child's English class on the following dates:
Monday, September 15 – C Day; Tuesday, September 16 – D Day; Wednesday, September 17 – E Day; Thursday, September 18 – F Day Make-up Day - Monday, October 20th.
Open House
Open House at the HS will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025 beginning at 5:30 PM for a presentation. 6:00 PM begins our bell schedule.
Senior Shirts Webstore
The Class of 2026 Senior Shirts webstore has been reopened. All orders must be placed by midnight on Wednesday October 1st in order to ensure delivery for Spirit Week. Check out the Class of 2026 Google Classroom for more information.
Freshman T-Shirts
Attention all FRESHMEN!!!
Purchase your class t-shirt NOW so you're ready for Spirit Week!
The LAST DAY to purchase one is Friday, September 26.

FBLA
FBLA will have their first meeting on Wednesday, 9/17/25 in Room 205A. Everyone is welcome. We will discuss our first blood drive coming up on 10/3/25. Need volunteer service hours, come join and help out! Classroom code is zp7we3t
Math Honor Society
The introductory meeting for the Math Honor Society will be next Thursday, September 18th after school in room 130. All prospective new members should attend. For more information the google classroom code is "gocthhuk"
Crochet for a Cause

SADD Club
The SADD club will be hosting its 1st meeting on Thursday, September 18th in room 221. All new members are welcome. Our google classroom code is zlkwokv
Student Government
All freshmen interested in running for student government, can pick up the application and nomination forms in room 235. Please make sure that you read all of the instructions and turn everything back to room 235 by the end of the school day on Thursday, September 25th. No late applications will be accepted. Should you have any questions, please see either Mrs. Ahrens or Mrs. Zomback.
PSAT Registration
PSAT Registration will close this Friday, September 19th.
Registration has been open for almost a month and the deadline is approaching!
Thinking of applying to 4-year colleges or scholarships in the future? Then you might need an SAT & the PSAT is a great way to prepare.
Sophomores and Juniors MUST register using RevTrak by this Friday.
Late registrations cannot be accepted.
Friendly Faces
We have an exciting opportunity for you to make a difference and connect with our future high school students. Friendly Faces is a club designed to welcome incoming freshmen for September 2026 and help them navigate the transition from middle school to high school. From former Friendly Faces members to newcomers to the club, you will be part of meeting current 8th graders by visiting Monroe Woodbury's Middle School and providing your insight and experience about being a Monroe Woodbury High School student.
The first Friendly Faces meeting will take place on Thursday September 18th at 2:00 p.m. In room 150

The Wire - Student News
Are you interested in writing news or opinion articles? Want to share stories that matter to students? The student news organization The Wire will hold a general interest meeting on Thursday in Room 321 at 2 p.m. The meeting is open to all students and no previous journalism experience is necessary.
STARS
Any 10th or 11th grader that is interested in joining STARS, please pick up an application outside of classroom 140 or see any health teacher. All Applications are due by 9/25. Late applications will not be accepted. Please see Mrs. Wright with any questions. This application is for new members only!
NHS Tutoring
NHS tutoring will be held today and tomorrow, 9/17 & 9/18, in the Library after school. NHS Tutoring will continue in the library every Wednesday and Thursday.
There will also be an NHS meeting after school today in Room 130. If you are unable to attend please reach out to Mrs. Barbulean and Dr. Silverman.
