Attendance Office
ABSENCE NOTES
ABSENCE NOTES SHOULD be in writing and given to the Attendance Desk in the Main Lobby when your child returns to school. You can email the Attendance Office at msattend@mw.k12.ny.us if necessary.
EARLY PICK UP NOTES
need to be in writing and need to include:
- Your child's first and last name
- Grade and House Color
- Reason for pick-up
- Time of pick up / CUT OFF TIME FOR PICK UP PRIOR TO 3:00pm DISMISSAL IS 2:30pm
- Who will be picking your child up; ID MUST BE PROVIDED
Notes should be given to the ATTENDANCE DESK in the Main Lobby WHEN YOUR CHILD ARRIVES TO SCHOOL. Your child will be given a pass to meet you in the lobby at the designated time. (Pick-up at 3:00 does not require a note.)
Student Council
If you are planning on running for an office postion in Student Council, don't forget your application is due by Wednesday, September 17th. Campaign materials are due on Friday, September 19th. If you were not able to attend the meeting and would like to run for office, the Google Classroom code is WPY43ROL. See Mrs. Aheran in room 253 ir you have any questions. Thank you
Sewing Club
The sewing club is having an introductory meeting for 7th and 8th graders on Thursday, September 18th at 3pm in room 127. A meeting for all 6th graders interested in attending the sewing club will be held the following week. Students can be pickead up or take the 4 pm bus home. Health and Wellness Club
Are you interested in feeling more positive and energetic? Do you want to learn mindfulness and how healthy food choices and exercise can help affect you? In the Health and Wellness Club, we will introduce body weight exercises, yoga, walking, hiking and conditioning and will create personalized wellness programs tailored to your own goals.
We will meet on Tuesdays in room 138A, but will often be going outside. Old and new members are welcome. Come to our first meeting Tuesday October 7th in room 138A to learn more. We hope to see you there!
